Open Letter to Sarah Palin

Dear Sarah,

May I call you Sarah?  I hope you don’t think me forward but i feel we have become fast friends.  I know we differ on some issues but we agree on many.

I watched your speech at the convention last night and must say, you are a bulldog.  I know, my favorite college football team are the Georgia Dawgs.

This was one of my favorite lines:  “This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word “victory” except when he’s talking about his own campaign. But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed … when the roar of the crowd fades away … when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent’s plan?”

 

And then here was this:  “But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country. Americans expect us to go to Washington for the right reasons, and not just to mingle with the right people.”

And this:  “The right reason is to challenge the status quo, to serve the common good, and to leave this nation better than we found it.

No one expects us to agree on everything.

But we are expected to govern with integrity, good will, clear convictions, and … a servant’s heart.

I pledge to all Americans that I will carry myself in this spirit as vice president of the United States. This was the spirit that brought me to the governor’s office, when I took on the old politics as usual in Juneau … when I stood up to the special interests, the lobbyists, big oil companies, and the good-ol’ boys network.

Sudden and relentless reform never sits well with entrenched interests and power brokers. That’s why true reform is so hard to achieve.”

Though we have never met personally, I feel as if you know me.

Republican Women Speak Out

Republican women leaders Wednesday leapt to the defense of under fire vice-presidential pick Sarah Palin, saying she had been the victim of unfair and sexist attacks.

They charged that Palin, a 44-year-old mother of five named as Senator John McCain’s wildcard running mate, faced the same dilemma as ex-first lady Hillary Clinton in her failed bid to become Democratic presidential candidate.

“I have been told by many, many Democrats over the last several months how disappointed they were in their own party for not standing up against the sexist smears that Hillary Clinton endured,” said Carly Fiorina, former boss of computer-making giant Hewlett-Packard.

“The Republican party will not stand by while Sarah Palin is subjected to sexist attacks … and as women, I think all of us are sensitized and outraged when we see sexist treatment,” she told a press conference on the sidelines of the Republican convention in St Paul, Minnesota.

The quality of the video and sound are not all that good, sorry, but it was the best i could find.

I have to give the Republican women credit, they have the courage that the Democratic women do not.

How Can Obama Be The President and a Father?

My God, he has two young daughters.  How in God’s name can he be a competent father and leader of the free world.  This will never do.  This is a real concern, no he cannot be a competent father and lead this country, two daughter, young daughters.

Often I hear idiots calling in on shows with that stupid question regarding Sarah Palin.

I will repeat once again, Sarah Palin has a husband.

Men are not so stupid that they cannot learn how to change a diaper or give comfort to a crying child.  And i bet he might be smart enough to help with the homework.

Yeah, men ain’t near as stupid as they act sometimes.

OFF LIMITS: Bristol Palin

Bristol Palin is the daughter of Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin and Todd.  The VP nominee has issued a statement regarding her daughter’s pregnancy.

Sarah has stated that this is a private matter.

Please respect her wishes.

The children of candidates should always remain OFF LIMITS.

John McCain, The Real Deal

One of my heroes is the late great President Roosevelt.  No not Teddy, Franklyn.

When America was attacked by a foreign enemy,President Roosevelt called upon the American people to a “cause greater than self”.  They responded.  That my friend is who we call “the greatest generation”.  The American people responded not only by joining the armed forces, they volunteered to man (actually woman) USO’s.  They rode bicycles to save gas.  They turned in metal items to help make trucks, planes, tanks, bullets, guns, you get the picture.  They bought “War Bonds”.

When we were hit on 9/11, Bush missed the perfect opportunity to call on the American people to come together.  But Bush said “go shopping”.

THINK

There are two men asking for your vote in November.  If you go to their websites, what is the first thing you see?  One is asking for a donation, the other is more like Franklyn D. Roosevelt, asking that the American people serve a cause greater than self.

 

When a disaster strikes,  BO proves he will be no differenct than Bush on these problems, he will ask for your money and go play.  John McCain will step up, take charge and ask fellow Americans to do the same.  That my friend is a Leader.

Ain’t That Kicker

John Kerry going after Sarah Palin on foreign experience, ain’t that a kicker.  Some one out there, please ask what foreign experience his running mate in 2004, John Edwards, had.  Then ask him what foreign experience the top of the ticket, BO, has.  Would the answer be none.  Oh, gosh darn I forgot, BO made a speech in Germany.  And when Russia invaded Georgia, the nation not the state, where was BO?  In Hawaii, and could not be bothered with those matters.

 

 

Governor Palin also visited the wounded troops.  Something BO refused to do without having the TV cameras.

Sarah Palin is a maverick.  She has taken on her own party leaders and the corruption.

Don’t know if she is a eer drinker and don’t care either.

Wolf, That Was a Stupid Question

Wolf Blitzer of CNN ( better known as the we love BO network) asked one of John McCain’s spokespersons what foreign experience Sarah Palin has.  Dah, bout the same as BO, you stupid a$$ kissing retard. BO’s foreign experience consists of a speech he gave in Germany for god’s sake.  But she has more executive experience as well.  And let us not forget the typical male chauvinistic pig, caffety, what a waste of a human life he is.  Does that idiot have daughters?  Hope he is not married, he must beat her every night.

OK, so she ain’t no Hillary Clinton, but there is only one Hillary Clinton.

Sarah has been described as a maverick, rebel, just like John McCain.

 

I Am Woman

I am woman, hear me roar in numbers too big to ignore.

And we know too much to go back and pretend.

I  have always loved that song.  But the point is, this primary has given a new spark to the age old women’s movement.  While we have been becoming a color blind society, we have ignored, and yes encouraged sexism and misogyny.

The primary is over and once again, the good ole boys have selected , surprise, surprise, surprise, a man, even if the female is more qualified more knowledgeable and a hell of lot more intelligent.

So now it is on to the general election.

I am here to tell you, there will be no BO in the Whitehouse.

Every One Knows

I deliberately did not watch mrs BO give her speech the other night.  I knew she wouldn’t say anything I wanted to hear.  Plus, I can’t afford to replace my TV set after I throw a brick threw it, and if I listened to her lies, I would do exactly that.  Been known to have a temper, and speak my mind.

But as usual, the news has to have highlights of the lies spoken, and I was not fast enough with the remote to change channels.

Lordy, I almost choked on my cornbread.  mrs BO had the audacity to say she and the mr “respect others”.  Bout that time my hand reached out to grab the first thing I could to throw but my son was quicker than me and moved it.

She and mr respect, what a crock of stinking bullshit.  If these people respected others, they would respect their vote.

Oh, that’s right, you don’t remember the civil rights movement.  You don’t honor the fallen souls who died going down south to register black voters when they were denied the right to register and vote.

Hillary Is The REAL Democrat

   

 

If you have “virgin eyes” stop reading.

I saw most of Hillary’s speech last night.  I will watch the recorded version today, my recording, so I can see the unedited version.  But what i saw last night blew me away, once again. 

Hillary is the party girl for sure.  She did exactly what a party loyalist should do. I am sure she will be out campaigning for BO, something michelle said she would not do if Hillary was the nominee.

Why, oh why are those talking heads still insist Hillary must deliver her voters to BO?  Are they fucking stupid?  Do these idiot comentaotrs think we are fucking stupid?  Why are they not asking why BO can’t close he deal?  Why their candidate does not appeal to real people.  Do these morons not think that having your vote count is important?  After all, this is supposed to be a democracy and the party is supposed to be the democratic paty.  Have they considered that we are our own people, we are intelligent, independent minded adults?  Naw, they have endorsed BO and expect us to fall in line.

The last time I fell in line, I was 10 tens years old and it was Mother who was my leader.

Did anyone besides me, notice the sour look on michell’s face when Hillary was speaking?  She looked like she was sucking a lemon.  What a spiteful bitch she is.  She is sooooooooooo jealous of Hillary and the supporters of Hillary.

Now the DNC has restored the status of the Florida and Michigan delegates to full voting status and they want us to be happy. ha!ha!ha!  What a laugh! Sooooooooooooo funny! 

TELL THE DNC THAT YOU DON’T CLOSE THE BARN DOOR AFTER THE HORSES HAVE GOTTEN OUT.
